Research Interests :
My research interests focus on image processing, quantitative microscopic analysis and signal modelling. I participate in the development of the image analysis program ImageJ. Object of my dissertation research was the microscopical study of the peripheral nerves and the possibilities to interface them (chronically) using implantable electrodes. Currently we are developing electrochemical technology for marking of the recording sites along peripheral nerves implanted with cuff electrodes.
